Why one video comes with more than one Funscript file
Later releases may include more than one .funscript file. The suffix is added after the title with an underscore. You may see _speedlimit or _filler on their own, or both at once as _speedlimit_filler.
All of them line up with the same video. The difference is how tightly they follow the picture, and how hard they are on the device.
Using Cupid - Kanata as an example, the files look like this:

No suffix: follow the picture exactly
This file looks like Cupid - Kanata.funscript, with nothing extra after the title.
This is the original Funscript file. It follows the motion on screen as written, with no speed cap. It feels the closest to the picture, and it also asks the most from your hardware.
If you run the full stroke range, some passages may outrun the device and feel off. Turning the stroke range down in the device settings is usually enough to avoid that.
_speedlimit: made for most devices
This file includes _speedlimit in the name, such as Cupid - Kanata_speedlimit.funscript.
The peaks are held to a speed most devices can keep up with. The rhythm of the scene is still there. The sharpest bursts are just less aggressive. If you are not sure the original will sit well on your hardware, start with this one.
_filler: keep moving when the picture pauses
This file includes _filler in the name, such as Cupid - Kanata_filler.funscript.
Some passages have little motion on screen while the music continues. The original Funscript file goes still in those spots. The filler version adds motion during those gaps, so the feeling does not drop off.
When the picture is moving, it still follows the picture. The extra writing is only for the quiet-looking, music-still-going parts. This one is not speed-limited.
_speedlimit_filler: both at once
This file includes _speedlimit_filler in the name, such as Cupid - Kanata_speedlimit_filler.funscript.
It does both: the peaks stay within what most devices can follow, and the quiet, music-still-going parts still move. Use this if you want the safer speed and you do not want the gaps to go still.
Which one to load
Use a video player that can load Funscript files, and pick just one. Same idea as subtitle files.
The one I recommend is OriPlayer. It is the least fuss. Grant it access to the folder that holds both the video and the Funscript files in one go. It matches them to the same title, and you can handle the rest in OriPlayer.
In Handyverse and similar playback interfaces you choose the Funscript file yourself, so the suffix does not affect pairing.
If you use a player such as ScriptPlayer that matches files by name, load the one you want, or rename it to match the video before you play.
Older works that only include one Funscript file are the original, with no suffix.
